Pathfinder T-Hunt
for November 8th 2003
Here are the results of the
Pathfinder Nov. 8 2003 Hunt
Put on by KF6GQ and KD6LAJ


Location: One transmitter in the city of San Antonio Heights North of Euclid Crescent east, off of Cliff Rd. Behind a boulder the only thing left after the fire. Running 1.7 watts to a 1/4 wave vertical.
In the west was four transmitters. One was just below Flint Peak on the Pasadena Glendale border, Running about 1 watt to a 1/4 wave. A steep hill was the chosen way in, but a much easier trail to the left wasn't used by the hunters. T8 (mini T) was in a location that was hidden several months ago, next to the Arroyo Seco Golf course. Then T9 was up on Chaney trail, just outside of the forest boundary. This was running about .75 watts. Then Snake T was just inside of the forest boundary, this was given to the hunters at the beginning of the hunt, that one T would be slightly outside of the boundary.

So, it looks like N6IDF and his wife KF6GWV won the hunt by the fact that they found all the transmitters. Thanks for those that came out, hope everybody had a good time.
