Hiders: Don KF6GQ and Steve KD6LAJ

Steve called me Friday night and told me he wouldn't be able to hide any T's, because he was going to the Iwrindale Race Track with his Harly Davidson Group Saturday Night. I convinced him to hide anyway, even if the T's are all going to be located in the San Gabriel Valley. So I guess he did, but at this time I have no idea where he hid them. I hid 5 T's the most eastern was on the Fish Creek Falls Trail at the end of Enconto Dr. in Durate. This T was running about .5 watts into a 1/4 wave vertical (see pictures).

 The second was at a friends home on Magnolia St. in Monrovia (the same guy who's cabin we used on the last all day). This T was close to the road and presented no major problems to the hunters.

 The third was planted in a large oak tree at my inlaw's home. This T apparently caused some problem with the neighbors, and they called the police. If all hunters where obaying the law, there shouldn't be any repercussions.

 The next T's where hidden west of the Rose Bowl up in the Flintridge-La Canada hills.  One 5mw T was on Hyland Dr. next to the 210 freeway. This T could be heard at the T2 location. T2 the loudest T at the start was at the end of a hard to find road that dead ended at a trail to a hill. About halfway up I hid the T in some bushes (see pictures).

 Also On the way to pick up the transmitters, I caught several deer feeding in the early morning hours.

 I hope to hear from Steve soon so I can get a update on the T's that where found for LAJ. In all, all of my T's where found by at least one team. Thanks for coming out. Don KF6GQ
