Hiders: Don KF6GQ and Steve KD6LAJ
HIding place:
T1 River T was located on the San Gabriel Bike Path, Just north of  Hunington Drive, in Azusa. All the other Ts were located in an area that was used before on a pathfinder hunt, and was never before located by the hunters. The area is west of the 605 Freeway, and just north of Arrow Hwy. Accessed by the bike path on the southwest side of the SantaFe Dam, along Arrow Hwy. The hunters must part their vehicles at this location N34 6.919 W 117 58.490. Then Hike northwest along the bike path, west under the 605 Freeway out to the settling grounds west of the freeway. Here where 4 transmitters, one was a simplex Repeater,  running about  3 watts to a J-pole, under the power lines. The others were as followes:
Snake T most  south, Tree Voice T, and most north CW 5 Yucca T.
All five Ts were located by WA6DWL and K6MJU (the Winners), and WA6PYE and N6MJN located 3 Ts, N6ZHZ and Thomas located 2 Ts both in the settling area west of the 605. Deryl N6AIN had a major problem with his Jimmy, and Mike helped him get to KF6GQ's home to leave his car there. Mike and Leonard continued hunting, but had trouble using AIN's Lper, so wasn't able to find any Ts. Deryl borrowed KF6GQ's car for the night and came back to a fully chargeded car to then drive home, to get his altenator fixed. I know Deryl didn't haave fun, but I hope those other hunters had fun. Bob, Jippy, what happend to you?
