The Transmitter was hidden in Pasadena, at a gate at the end of Glen Oaks Bl. L. A. Thomas Guide page 565 D3. It was running about 3 watts to a 4 element beam pointed at the start point.

First to arrive was the team of KK6ME Jim and KD6LOR Paul at 8:50 PM. Followed shortly by N6MJN Dave and N6XFC Steve at 8:51 PM.

At about 9:45 PM the K6KZZ team reported in that they had had equipment failure and were dropping out.
