The Hider: KA6KZZ hiding for KD6WMD and KG6CBD

Since my kids won the hunt last month, and they went camping with a bunch of friends this weekend, I hid for them. The places they planned were not available since all the gates were closed and locked since they planned them. So I hid in places even they did not know.


T1 was located in the arroyo north of the Rose Bowl. The transmitter fed an 11 element beam pointed at Flint Peak.

T2 was down in the arroyo just off Rockwood Road south of La Loma.

T3 was located on Orange Grove Ave south of Monterey in South Pasadena. It was intended to light up the arroyo from the south by overlooking it from above the rim. Nobody found it.
