| The T was located on Glendora Mountain
Road out side of the Forestry boundary according to the AAA LA &
Vicinity map.

I wont go into details, but as you can see the map
below the road goes out of the Forestry boundary.
The other 2 teams agree I was in bounds.
Mike knows he might have won if he would not have
turned round just after the Forestry sign and added the extra 10 miles
or so looking for the T along the bottom of the ridge or trying to find
a place to hear a signal coming from another location.
Mike has been plagued with equipment problems for
months now on and off. Saturday day Mike and David / N6IDF worked
on both the Doppler and Yagi before the hunt. All was working well
in the driveway. But early into the hunt Mikes Gremlins came back
and disrupted his equipment from working properly. |
