Results of the April 10th 1999 Pathfinder T-Hunt
Hiders....Jim KK6ME, Jennifer N6VFE and Paul KD6LOR
There were three transmitters for the hunters to find. Transmitter 1 was a 2w tone box (ID N6VFE) hidden in the Santa Ana River next to a chain link fence on a bike path. To reach the box you had to cross over the river using the pedestrian bridge.
The second box was also a 2w tone box (ID KK6ME) and was hidden off of a horse trail near the intersection of Via Lomas De Yorba and the Santa Fe Rail Road tracks.
The third transmitter was the usual main 'T' in my truck, giving the "
I'm the voice of the hidden 'T' better give up you'll never find me" message. This transmitter was located on "Blue Sky" about 1/4 mile west of the south end of Weir Canyon road. The transmitter was pointed across the canyon in the hopes hunters would get bounces off of the hills giving false headings to the north.Paul, Jenny and I hope everyone had a good time.
