Hiding place: San Clemente State Park. about 100 feet from the ocean in a washout in the side of a cliff.  The T was running 25 watts into a 10 element beam. The beam was pointed at Catalina Island. Tried for a Catalina bounce. Got some but not much to the start point. There was a second T running 2 watts into a whip that was JUST FOR FUN.
