All Night Transmitter Hunt

Hiders: N6AIN Deryl and N6EKS Ray
Where: West of Lancaster at the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve.
T1 was running 120 watts to an 11 element beam.

We hid 4 Ts around and about the area. It had rained a little the night before but the roads were still dry in the morning. The wind was blowing in gusts enough to blow the antenna of the main T over. So we had to tie it down securely.

Results:

WA6RJN T1 12:20 T3 12:44 T6 12:56 T5 1:20 1 hour zero minutes
WB6JPI T1 12:35 T6 12:58 T3 1:09 T5 1:55 1 hour 20 minutes
KF6GQ/KD6LAJ T3 1:14 T6 1:32 T1 2:28 T5 3:27 2 hours 13 minutes
K6VCR/D0TI T5 4:35 T3 5:12 T1 5:15 T6 5:35 1 hour zero minutes

The winner was to be the team with the shortest time between the first T found and the last T.
Tiebreaker would be the shortest mileage from first T to last. Since no one put their
mileage down I couldn't determine the winner by the rules I announced. So I flipped a
coin between Tom K6VCR and Doug WA6RJN. Doug was the winner.
If they wish to talk about it and maybe change the results, they are welcome to do so.
Just let me know.

Deryl N6AIN
