Steve & I (KF6GQ) selected this area because it offered many challenges for the hunters. It was located north west of the intersection of the 60 & 605 freeways. You could drive up to about 150 yards of the main T, and about 80 yards from one of the mini T's (river T). However the San Gabriel River is between you and the T, the only way in without getting your feet wet (that we know of) is an equestrian trail access at Workman Mill Rd., which is about 1/2 mile east of the T location, on the east side of the 605 freeway. We where using about 3 watts to a 15 element beam, facing the San Gabriel Mountains, hopefully creating a bounce. Four teams started and two teams found the T's. Results as follows.
